AuDHD describes the overlap between ADHD and autism. It isn't a formal diagnosis itself — the formal diagnoses are ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder — but it's language many clients already use, and research on this overlap is still developing.

Do I need to already suspect autism to get evaluated for AuDHD?

No. Every evaluation here looks at ADHD and autism together, so you don't need to know in advance which one fits.

Can this evaluation diagnose depression, anxiety, or other conditions too?

Yes. As a licensed professional counselor, conditions like depression, anxiety, or trauma-related conditions can be identified and diagnosed as part of this evaluation when they're relevant to your picture.

Will my school or employer accept this evaluation for accommodations?

It depends on the institution. Some universities, employers, and licensing boards require testing completed specifically by a psychologist and may not accept this evaluation. Check with your institution's requirements before booking.

Can I use this evaluation to apply for disability benefits?

No. Disability benefit applications have their own separate requirements outside this evaluation.

What if I don't end up with an ADHD or autism diagnosis?

That's still useful information. It means your experience likely stems from something else, and we'll talk through what that might be.
