Therapy For Adults With ADHD
Adult ADHD therapy built around how your brain actually works.
Adult ADHD Therapy
Adult ADHD therapy at Rising Perspective is designed for the people who’ve been working harder than everyone around them and still feeling behind.
You may have a diagnosis already and still feel like no one has explained what to actually do with it. Or you may be exploring the possibility for the first time. For some adults, the picture also includes autism — the overlap commonly called AuDHD — and therapy here is built to hold that whole picture, not just one part of it. Either way, this is therapy that respects your intelligence, your effort, and the reality of what ADHD does to daily life.
What We Work On
- Executive functioning: planning, follow-through, transitions, time sense.
- Emotional regulation and the intensity that often travels with ADHD.
- Identity, relationships, and the way ADHD shapes how you move through the world.
- Shame, self-criticism, and years of carrying an invisible load.
- Burnout, overfunctioning, and the cycle of doing too much and still feeling behind.
What This Looks Like
Sessions are collaborative, practical, and a little experimental. We look at what’s actually happening in your week, not what a productivity book thinks should be happening. We test small changes, track what works, and adjust. You don’t have to perform progress. You just have to show up and tell the truth about what’s going on.
